Since the boarding gate check-in counters might be subject to change, please check at the airport to the day of departure.

Passengers can use Face Express, a new check-in procedure using facial recognition.
Passengers who use this service should proceed to check-in zone C.
When entering or returning to Japan, please use Visit Japan Web (an online service for immigration and customs declaration procedures).
Effective from flights departing March 30, 2026 (local time)
To passengers departing on NH802 (NQ802) bound for Narita:
When registering on Visit Japan Web or filling out immigration and customs declaration forms upon entry into Japan, please enter the flight number as NQ802.
If you have already registered as NH802, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please change your registration on the website.
From February 2019, some ANA operated flights may arrive at Terminal 1 North Wing. For details, please check at Narita Airport website "Flights Today"
The transit facilities on the 3rd floor of the South Wing in Terminal 1 are currently closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to passengers with connecting flights, but kindly request that they instead proceed to the arrival lobby for Japan domestic flights and use the security checkpoint on the 4th floor of the South Wing.

Connecting Passengers

You do not need to perform immigration procedures for Japan. Furthermore, you do not need to collect your checked baggage if the baggage tag thereon indicates all destinations up to your final destination.

Outside of the above hours, passengers are not allowed to stay in the terminal areas in front of the immigration procedures section for arrivals and those past the immigration procedures section for departures.

For Terminal 1 transits

Please go through the Departure Concourse on the third floor after you have cleared Transit Inspection on the fourth floor.
Please clear Transit Inspection and go through the Transit Counter on the third floor if you have not checked in for your next flight.

Transit from Terminal 2 / Terminal 3

Please use the connecting bus in the terminal for transportation between terminals.

Transit from international flights to domestic flights

If you check in baggage at your departure airport outside Japan, you will need to pick it up regardless of the destination indicated on your baggage tag. Furthermore, after passing through customs, you will need to check your baggage in again at a counter for Japan domestic flights. Please take care not to forget to pick up your baggage.

Transit to ANA domestic flights

Counter opening hours 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Passengers arriving in the South Wing should perform immigration procedures and then collect their checked baggage, proceed to the exit for domestic connecting flights, and check in their baggage at the Narita Connections Baggage Drop Counter. Passengers arriving in the North Wing should perform immigration procedures and then collect their checked baggage and proceed to the domestic flight check-in counter in the South Wing.
After checking in their baggage, they should pass through the security checkpoint on the 3rd floor and then come to the domestic flight departure gates on the 2nd floor at least 10 minutes prior to the departure of their flight.

Transit to Non-ANA Domestic Flights

Please complete the immigration procedures and then collect your checked baggage and take the shuttle bus to Terminal 2 from the bus stop on the 1st floor.

Transit from domestic flights to international flights in Terminal 1

If you are connecting to an international flight departing from Terminal 1, South Wing and you have already checked in your baggage, please proceed to Transit Inspection from your domestic flight's arrival gate. After completing the security check and departure procedures, proceed to your international flight's departure gate.

  The transit security checkpoints are currently closed. Please proceed to the arrival lobby for Japan domestic flights and use the security checkpoint on the 4th floor of the South Wing.
If you are connecting to an international flight departing from Terminal 1, North Wing, please proceed to the 4th floor of Terminal 1, North Wing from the arrival lobby.

Transit from domestic flights to international flights in Terminal 2

If you are connecting to an international flight departing from Terminal 2, please complete arrival procedures, then proceed to the shuttle bus stop located on the 1st floor to ride the shuttle bus to Terminal 2.

Transit to Flight Departing from Haneda Airport

Passengers connecting from an international flight to a Japan domestic or international flight at Haneda Airport should complete the immigration procedures and then collect their checked baggage, pass through the general exit, and travel to Haneda Airport.
